Biography

Ron Moore is a native of Toronto and has spent the majority of his business career as a film and television producer and writer. In 2003 that all changed when, at the encouragement of his wife, Ron entered the world famous Collingwood Elvis Festival. His first performance as an ETA, Elvis Tribute Artist, was in front of over 50,000 staunch Elvis fans. After just one line into the song the crowd erupted into applause and cheers. They remained hushed for the balance of the song and then at its conclusion erupted once again with cheers and shouts of … More! More!

The following afternoon Ron was scheduled to perform at a venue, and when he and his wife arrived they were astonished to see a line up had formed at the door. Again the crowd responded with standing ovations and shouts for encores. Shock and disbelief overwhelmed the couple and they began to wonder if there wasn’t something more to this than a one-gig-stand.

They decided to test the waters at small venues and again the response and encouragement was overwhelming. Ron then entered the Kingfest competition and won the title of “Kingfest Classic Champion”! His first concert entitled Songs In The Key of Elvis© was a sellout! It was also recorded live and, because of the quality of the performance, a limited number of CDs of it were pressed and sold out quickly.

Ron wowed the throngs again at the world’s largest Elvis Festival in Collingwood Ontario and his performances were summed up in the media by this one line “Ron had the best, ‘Elvis’, voice I heard all weekend”. Shortly after this he released his second CD ‘Love Songs in The Key of Elvis’ and performed live to sold out audiences who have been “jaw-dropingly” amazed at his natural vocals which many refer to as being “cloned from Elvis”!

In 2007 Ron was seen live by close to 250,000 fans as demand for his ‘Songs In the Key of Elvis’ show increased and the news of his ’silky smoothe voice’ spread. He was also featured on radio and television and will be making many more appearances in 2008 with his ‘Cruzin’ With the King’ segments which places Ron at major automotive events in North America. This includes car crusies; car shows; and racing events such as NASCAR, Indy Car and American LeMans events.

Also in 2008 Ron will be recording two new CD’s to follow in the success of his current releases.

“In my wildest imagination I never thought I would be doing what I am doing. What an honour it is to be able to perform some of the greatest music of all time for the greatest fans in the world. I’m very fortunate to be able to hitch a ride on Elvis’s star. It’s been a great ride and 2008 is going to be a banner year. I am also overwhelmed and humbled by the response and support shown by fans. The cards, letters, e-mails, and gifts are all so very much appreciated.  Of course to them I say, ThankYou, ThankYouVeryMuch!” —Ron Moore.
