A new song was showcased at the worlds largest Elvis Festival in Collingwood Ontario on July 23rd 2010.

The song “Old Dog New Tricks” was performed live on the main stage during the annual Friday night street party. It was performed by it’s composer, Elvis Tribute Artist Ron Moore. Ron was backed by the Festivals house band “the Casino Brothers” as well as 60 line-dancers.

“Old Dog New Tricks” is a song I wrote with the boomer generation in mind and in fact it has been referred to as “The Boomers Anthem”. “A generation, my generation, does not have to roll over & die just because the calender or anyone else tells them. There is a whole lot the “boomers” can still contribute. This is a song I hope will give new meaning to this phrase” explains Ron.

People who have heard the song thus far said even though it is not an “Elvis” tune it definately has “Elvis” written all over it.
